Job summary

Fluid Construction seeks an experienced Site Manager to lead new build projects in the fuel and infrastructure sectors from mobilisation to completion. Based in Christchurch, you will coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery while engaging with clients and engineers.

This role requires away work across New Zealand up to two weeks at a time, a strong civil construction background, and a current NZ driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Manager or similar.
• Strong civil construction experience incl earthworks, concrete and underground services.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades on live sites.
• Current NZ driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

In this role you'll take ownership of new build projects from mobilisation through to completion, coordinating subcontractors, trades, suppliers and project timelines to ensure everything is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You'll be working across civil works, underground services and specialist fuel infrastructure, while liaising with clients, consultants, engineers and other key stakeholders throughout the project. You must be happy to get amongst the onste actiivties with the team and muck in.

What you'll need:

• Previous experience in the fuel, petroleum or service station industry is essential
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor or similar
• Strong civil construction experience, including earthworks, concrete and underground services
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades on live construction sites
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Current NZ driver's licence
• Relevant trade or construction qualification is advantageous
