Job summary

Qube Logistics NZ is seeking an organised SHS Systems & Support Specialist to join the Safety, Health and Sustainability team. The role focuses on administering and improving SHS software systems like INX, delivering training, and supporting reporting and compliance across the business.

You will work with internal teams to strengthen SHS processes, coach staff on system requirements, and help build safer, more consistent ways of working in a logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with safety software systems in safety/logistics or high‑risk environments.
• At least two years’ Health and Safety experience or an applicable HSE qualification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and digital systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer, support and improve SHS software systems.
• Liaise with providers, groups and units on system developments.
• Develop training materials and provide user training across Qube Logistics NZ.
• Coach staff to improve confidence and capability in safety system requirements.
• Use reporting and BI functions to prepare monthly executive and KPI reports.
• Support audits, compliance activities and SHS improvement initiatives.
• Maintain risk registers and SHS collateral for activities.
• Provide general support to SHS, People & Culture and Training teams.

Job description

Qube Logistics NZ is looking for an organised, systems-focused and safety-minded SHS Systems & Support Specialist to join our Safety, Health and Sustainability team. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys improving systems, supporting people, and helping build safer, more consistent ways of working across the business.

In this role, you will provide safety management system and general support to the business and SHS team, with a strong focus on administering, improving and supporting Qube’s SHS software systems, including INX. You will help coordinate system improvements, develop user training, support reporting and compliance activities, and work closely with internal teams to strengthen SHS processes across Qube Logistics NZ.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Administer, support and improve SHS software systems
• Liaise with external providers, Group teams and business units on system developments and enhancements.
• Develop training materials and provide user training and support across QLNZ.
• Coach and guide staff to improve confidence and capability in safety system requirements.
• Use reporting and Business Intelligence functions to prepare monthly Executive, KPI and other reports.
• Support audits, assurance activities, compliance requirements and SHS improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and support risk registers, system processes and collateral required for SHS activities.
• Provide general support to the SHS, People & Culture and Training teams as required.

About You

• Experience working with safety software systems, ideally within a safety, logistics or high-risk operational environment.
• Ideally at least two years’ experience in Health and Safety and/or an appropriate HSE qualification.
• Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills, with confidence working across digital systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, solution-focused approach.
• High attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate reports, training material and system information.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to support, coach and guide users at all levels.
• A collaborative, reliable and flexible approach, with a genuine commitment to safe and sustainable work practices.
