Job summary

Endura Mining is seeking an experienced Shotcrete Sprayer Operator to join its underground mining team in New Zealand. The role focuses on supporting underground stability and safe progression of operations through shotcrete ground support systems, with leadership opportunities as the operation grows.

This position is not FIFO and requires a current driver license, a strong safety mindset, and teamwork to read and follow mine plans and site procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a shotcrete sprayer operator in underground hard rock mining.
• Knowledge of underground ground support systems.
• Ability to read and follow mine plans and ground support instructions.
• Current Driver Licence.
• Strong health, safety and environmental performance.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground shotcrete spraying equipment safely and efficiently.
• Apply shotcrete to underground development and production areas per engineering specs.
• Inspect work areas for ground support hazards.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Monitor shotcrete quality and thickness against standards.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate production and operational records.
• Collaborate with Geotechnical, Technical Services, and Underground Mining teams.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the operation.

We are seeking an experienced Shotcrete Sprayer Operator to join our underground mining team! This role is essential in maintaining underground stability and supporting the safe advancement of mining operations through the application of shotcrete ground support systems.

This role is not FIFO

As our Shotcrete Sprayer Operator you will be responsible for:

• Operate underground shotcrete spraying equipment safely and efficiently.
• Apply shotcrete to underground development and production areas in accordance with engineering specifications.
• Inspect work areas and identify potential ground support hazards.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Monitor shotcrete quality, thickness, and application standards.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with underground ground support plans and site procedures.
• Maintain accurate operational and production records.
• Work closely with Geotechnical, Technical Services, and Underground Mining
  teams.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the operation.

About You:

• Previous experience as a Shotcrete Sprayer Operator in an underground hard rock mining environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of underground ground support systems.
• Experience operating Normet, Epiroc, or similar underground shotcrete equipment.
• Current Driver Licence.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental performance.
• Ability to read and follow mine plans and ground support instructions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
