Job summary

Endura Mining is seeking a Paste Crew member to join our underground operations in New Zealand. The successful candidate will install and maintain paste reticulation systems, support stopes preparation, and work closely with mining, technical services and maintenance teams to ensure safe, efficient paste fill delivery.

You will operate in a 7/7 roster, demonstrating strong safety awareness, teamwork and independent work capability as the company builds a scalable, values-driven mining operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in paste fill, service crew, underground production or infrastructure environments.
• Current Manual Driver Licence.
• Strong understanding of underground mining safety systems and procedures.
• Ability to safely install and maintain underground services and infrastructure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to identify hazards and implement effective controls.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work a 7/7 roster including days and nights.

Responsibilities

• Install, extend, inspect and maintain underground paste reticulation pipelines and associated infrastructure.
• Assist with the preparation and setup of stopes prior to paste filling activities.
• Monitor paste delivery systems and report operational issues or abnormalities.
• Conduct routine inspections of paste lines, valves, barricades and fill infrastructure.
• Assist with pressure testing and commissioning of paste reticulation systems.
• Safely operate light vehicles, elevated work platforms and other ancillary equipment as required.
• Ensure paste fill activities are conducted in accordance with approved procedures and mine schedules.
• Identify and report hazards, defects, leaks or system failures.
• Liaise effectively with underground production, technical services and paste plant personnel.
• Assist with general underground services and project work as directed by supervisors.

The Paste Crew is responsible for the safe and efficient installation, operation, monitoring and maintenance of the underground paste reticulation system. This role plays a critical part in supporting production activities by ensuring paste fill is delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with the mine plan and operational requirements.

Working closely with the Mining, Technical Services and Maintenance teams, the Paste Crew contributes to paste fill preparation, line management, barricading, inspections and operational support activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance.
