Job summary

Endura Mining is seeking an experienced underground equipment operator to join our foundation team. You will operate tele-remote LHDs and other underground loaders, perform inspections, and support production targets while ensuring safety and environmental standards are upheld.

You will collaborate with underground crews and maintenance staff, follow mine plans and site procedures, and contribute to a growing operations team as we scale.

Qualifications

• Experience operating LHDs, boggers or similar underground production equipment.
• Experience with tele-remote or remote-operated mining systems (preferred).
• Current Manual Driver Licence and First Aid certification are required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

Job description

This is a rare opportunity to join Endura Mining at a foundational stage and help shape its future from the ground up. With active site operations in New Zealand and a growing Sydney based corporate team, we are entering an exciting phase of rapid growth and transformation.

Responsibilities

• Operate tele-remote Load-Haul-Dump (LHD) loaders and other remote-controlled underground equipment.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and equipment checks.
• Maximise production while maintaining safe operating practices.
• Identify and report equipment faults and operational hazards.
• Communicate effectively with underground crews, maintenance personnel and supervisors.
• Follow mine plans, operating procedures and production schedules.

Workplace Duties

• Maintain accurate production and equipment records.
• Promote Endura Mining’s safety culture and environmental standards.
• Completion of paperwork, documentation and other tools required by site procedures and policies
• Use positive radio communications at all times.
• Undertaking additional / alternative responsibilities as reasonably assigned by the Shift Supervisor, Mine Coordinator, Mine Superintendent or Mining Manager
• Participate in safety and environmental verification activities and inspections
• At all times, display behaviors in alignment with Endura Values. Safety, Integrity and Accountability
• Assist the general mine operations team by example through maintaining a positive presence, maintaining site standards and professional conduct

About you

• Experience operating LHDs, boggers or similar underground production equipment.
• Experience with tele-remote or remote-operated mining systems (preferred).
• Current Manual Driver Licence.
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work a 7/7 roster (days and nights).
