Job summary

Endura Mining in New Zealand is seeking a Batch Plant Operator to safely operate batch plant equipment and deliver shotcrete to underground to support production targets. You will follow SOPs, perform QAQC, monitor stock, and assist purchasing/logistics with materials.

The role requires 1+ year mine operations experience, batch plant exposure preferred, and valid licences including Class 2/4 and a full manual licence. Training and career development are available in a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• Batch plant experience desirable.
• Experience with mobile heavy equipment (loaders, trucks).
• Full Manual Drivers Licence with no adverse driving charges.
• Controlled Substance Licence or willingness to acquire.
• First Aid certificate or willingness to acquire.
• Work at Heights qualification or willingness to acquire.
• Class 2 and 4 Drivers Licence qualification or willingness to acquire.
• Wheels, Tracks, Rollers (WTR) qualification or willingness to acquire.
• Experience operating in tunnelling, mining, or production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the batch plant in accordance with SOPs.
• Deliver shotcrete from the batch plant to underground to meet production.
• Ensure QAQC testing in line with site procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and materials as per SOPs.
• Coordinate with purchasing and logistics to ensure aggregates and additives are available.
• Inspect work area and equipment for hazards, damage and defects.
• Safely operate trucks and other mobile mining fleet equipment.
• Complete paperwork and site documentation.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by Shift Supervisor/Mining Manager.
• Participate in safety and environmental verification activities.

Job description

With production targeted within the 6 months, our strategy is to grow into a multi asset business operating 3 to 5 gold and copper projects. The stage is set for you to be part of this journey from the very beginning, where your impact will directly influence how we scale and succeed.

We need a Batch Plant Operator to join our team to provide safe and productive operation of batch plant equipment to ensure shotcrete and concrete is produced in accordance with site procedures.

As our Batch Plant Operator, you are responsible for:

• Operate the batch plant in accordance with relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
• Deliver shotcrete from the batch plant to the underground in a timely manner to meet with production requirements
• Ensure regular QAQC testing is conducted in accordance with site procedures
• Monitor stock levels and maintain batch plant materials in accordance with the relevant SOP’s
• Communicate proactively with purchasing and logistics to ensure supplies of concrete aggregates and additives (including fibres) are available at all times
• Inspect the work area, plant and equipment for hazards, damage and defects
• Safe operation of trucks, Its, loaders, agi’s and other mobile fleet mining equipment
• Completion of paperwork, documentation and other tools required by site procedures and policies
• Undertaking additional / alternative responsibilities as reasonably assigned by the Shift Supervisor, Mine Superintendent or Mining Manager
• Participate in safety and environmental verification activities and inspections

About You:

• 1+ years mine operations experience
• Proven experience in a bath plant role is desirable
• Experience with mobile heavy equipment plus loaders, trucks and other mobile mining fleet equipment
• Full Manual Drivers Licence with no adverse driving charges
• Controlled Substance License or willingness to acquire
• First Aid certificate or willingness to acquire
• Work at Heights qualification or willingness to acquire
• Class 2 and 4 Drivers Licence qualification or willingness to acquire
