Job summary

Endura Mining is building a foundational team as it scales its New Zealand operations. You will lead the mine operations team, ensuring safe operation of trucks and other mobile equipment while supporting the tunnelling and mining schedule.

The role emphasizes safety, integrity, and accountability. Applicants should have experience operating trucks in mining or tunnelling environments, a full manual driver’s licence, and licences (Class 2/4) or willingness to acquire, plus a First Aid

This is a rare opportunity to join Endura Mining at a foundational stage and help shape its future from the ground up. With active site operations in New Zealand and a growing Sydney based corporate team, we are entering an exciting phase of rapid growth and transformation.

With production targeted within the next 12 months, our strategy is to grow into a multi asset business operating 3 to 5 gold and copper projects. The stage is set for you to be part of this journey from the very beginning, where your impact will directly influence how we scale and succeed.

Job responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of trucks and other site mobile equipment in accordance with site procedures.
• Support the safe and timely delivery of the mine and tunnelling schedule through compliance with shift requirements.
• Completion of paperwork, documentation and other tools required by site procedures and policies.
• Always use positive radio communications.
• Undertaking additional / alternative responsibilities as reasonably assigned by the Shift Supervisor, Mine Superintendent or Mining Manager.
• Participate in safety and environmental verification activities and inspections.
• At all times, display behaviours in alignment with our Values. Safety, Integrity and Accountability.
• Lead the general mine operations team by example through a maintaining a positive presence, enforcing site standards and professional conduct.

• Encourage a safety focused culture.
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety by ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures in place.
• Actively participate in a healthy culture by ensuring prompt reporting of all incidents.
• Adhere to safety rules in accordance with the site Health and Safety Management system, statutory requirements, acts and regulations.
• Present for work at your rostered time, ensuring compliance to a zero tolerance to Drugs and Alcohol.

About You

• Experience with mobile heavy equipment including haul trucks or other mobile machinery.
• First Aid certificate
• 1+ years’ experience in driving heavy machinery
• Proven experience operating trucks in a tunnelling, mining, or production environment
• Full Manual Drivers Licence with no adverse driving charges.
• Class 2 and 4 Drivers Licence qualification or willingness to acquire.
• Wheels, Tracks, Rollers (WTR) qualification or willingness to acquire.
