Power Farming Hastings, New Zealand’s leading agriculture distributor, is seeking an experienced Agriculture Service Technician to join our Hawke’s Bay (Hastings) branch. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of world-class agricultural equipment and tractors.

You’ll need a qualification in automotive heavy engineering or diesel mechanic, strong diagnostics skills, and a full driver’s license. This role offers steady hours, relocation support for the right candidate, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Qualification in automotive heavy engineering or diesel mechanic.
• Excellent diagnostics with understanding of electronics and hydraulics.
• Full Driver’s license.
• Background in diagnostics and repair of agricultural tractors and machinery.
• Good communication to liaise with people at all levels.
• Understand and manage customer expectations.
• Good level of physical fitness due to heavy lifting.

About you:

You’ll take real pride in your work and machinery itself.You’ll be self-motivated, have excellent problem-solving skills and have astrong work ethic. You will need:

• A qualification in automotive heavy engineering ordiesel mechanic
• Excellence in diagnostics and have a soundunderstanding of electronics and hydraulics.
• A full Driver’s license.
• A background in diagnostics and repair oragricultural tractors and machinery
• Goodcommunication skills to liaise with people at all levels.
