Job summary

Automotive Employment NZ Ltd. is seeking an experienced field service technician for a Hawera-based role to diagnose and repair a range of modern agricultural machinery.

You will service, maintain and repair equipment, prepare it for delivery, and provide technical support to customers using advanced diagnostic tools and up-to-date technical information, with training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• A Diesel Mechanic or Automotive Technician trade qualification, or other equivalent qualification.
• Agricultural equipment experience is preferred, although experienced heavy diesel technicians from related industries are encouraged to apply.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Good understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• A current, clean driver's licence.
• Good communication skills and a commitment to quality workmanship.
