Job summary

Hirepool in Auckland is seeking a Service Person to help ensure our equipment is fit for hire. You'll gain hands-on training, develop skills across a wide range of hire plant, and contribute to customer service and safe operation.

You’ll be in the yard, on phones, and helping the team meet daily goals. A Full Class 1 license and basic computer skills are required; weekend roster work is part of the role, with clear opportunities for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Great customer service and sales experience from the learnings section.
• Requirements include a Full Class 1 Driver Licence (other classes and endorsements are an advantage).
• Basic to intermediate computer skills and willingness to work on a rostered basis including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Help customers, answer phones, and assist team in the yard and shop.
• Ensure equipment is fit for hire and well maintained.
• Assist with general branch duties and yard cleanup.

As a Service Person, you'll be helping to ensure our equipment is fit for hire (a really important part of what we do!). You'll also get to develop your existing skills and build up your knowledge on our wide range of hire equipment.

There's always a lot going on in the branch so you need to be prepared to help out your team with whatever gets the job done; helping customers, cleaning the yard or answering phones.

This is a great role for someone who's keen to develop their knowledge and broaden their experience. And if you're interested in progressing your career, we have a range of opportunities for skills growth and promotion.
