Job summary

Hirepool North Shore is hiring a Service Person to help ensure our equipment is fit for hire and to develop skills across a wide range of hire equipment. You will support customers, keep the yard organized, and assist with phones and team tasks.

You will receive strong on-the-job training, potential endorsements, and a comprehensive benefits package including enhanced Kiwisaver contributions and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full Class 1 Driver Licence (other classes and endorsements are an advantage).
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• To be happy to work on a rostered basis.

Responsibilities

• Help ensure equipment is fit for hire and well maintained.
• Develop knowledge on a wide range of hire equipment.
• Assist customers, keep the yard tidy, and answer phones.

We are looking for someone to join our branch in North Shore. Someone who enjoys working with tools and machinery and has a keen interest in developing that knowledge into a career.

As a Service Person, you'll be helping to ensure our equipment is fit for hire (a really important part of what we do!). You'll also get to develop your existing skills and build up your knowledge on our wide range of hire equipment.

There's always a lot going on in the branch so you need to be prepared to help out your team with whatever gets the job done; helping customers, cleaning the yard or answering phones.

What you'll learn:

• How to service a wide variety of hire plant
• What tools and machinery are required for different jobs
• Great customer service and sales experience
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety practices

What you need:
