Job summary

Duncan & Ebbett in Te Rapa (Hamilton) is recruiting a Service Advisor for their Jaguar Land Rover dealership. You will be the main point of contact between customers and the workshop, coordinating servicing and repairs while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Ideal candidates will have previous service-advisor experience in automotive settings, strong communication skills, and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Previous Service Advisor experience preferred, ideally within an automotive dealership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A professional presentation and customer-focused approach.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing customer enquiries, service bookings and vehicle check-ins
• Liaising with the workshop team to coordinate servicing and repairs
• Providing accurate estimates and keeping customers informed throughout the service process
• Explaining completed work, invoices and any additional repairs required
• Maintaining accurate customer records, job cards and warranty documentation
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients/business partners and other departments

As a Service Advisor, you will be the key point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring vehicle servicing and repairs are coordinated efficiently while providing a positive customer experience from start to finish.
