Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Auckland warehouse and distribution operations. You will oversee inbound, outbound and returns, drive safety, manage a 30+ team, and partner with customers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders. A proven leadership track record in warehousing is essential.

You will optimize processes, KPIs, and costs while fostering continuous improvement and a high-performance culture in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in an operations manager or senior leadership role in warehousing/logistics.
• Proven track record leading large teams through supervisors and frontline leaders.
• Experience with WMS and ERP systems and driving safety/compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations across inbound, outbound and returns functions.
• Ensure service levels, quality standards, and customer expectations are met.
• Drive a safety-first culture and maintain health and safety compliance.
• Manage resources, workforce planning, and labour utilisation to meet demand.
• Monitor KPIs, inventory accuracy, and cost performance.
• Build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Lead continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and profitability.
• Implement SOPs, quality frameworks, and compliance processes.
• Oversee customer operational reviews and identify service opportunities.
• Coach and develop supervisors and operational teams.
• Support succession planning and employee engagement initiatives.
