Job summary

PwC NZ is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Transformation Design & Delivery team. You’ll lead business analysis and process improvement across transformation programmes, translating complex client needs into practical actions.

You’ll work with clients and PwC professionals across advisory engagements, facilitate workshops, map current and future processes, and explore AI-enabled tools to boost efficiency and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in business analysis, business process improvement, transformation, change or project-based environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems into clear requirements and practical solutions.
• Experience gathering, analysing and documenting requirements through interviews, workshops and stakeholder engagement.
• Exposure to business process mapping, current-state / future-state analysis.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build trusted relationships across teams.
• Clear, confident communication to translate complex information into actionable outputs.
• Interest in AI, automation and emerging technologies with willingness to learn AI-enabled tools.
• Well-organised, proactive, able to manage competing priorities and contribute across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements, translating complex information into practical recommendations and actions.
• Map current-state processes and design improved future-state processes and operating procedures.
• Plan and facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to validate requirements and build alignment.
• Develop transformation deliverables including process maps, requirements documentation and user journeys.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation and emerging technologies to improve processes and experiences.
• Identify gaps, risks and dependencies; support testing, implementation and transition activities.
• Take ownership of defined work and contribute to broader transformation workstreams.
• Contribute to PwC’s transformation tools, frameworks and ways of working while building consulting capability.
