Job summary

PwC New Zealand in Wellington seeks a Senior Analyst to join the Transformation Design & Delivery team, focusing on business analysis and process improvement across transformation programmes. You’ll work with capable colleagues to translate complex business needs into practical solutions.

You’ll use PwC-approved AI-enabled tools to explore how AI and automation can improve processes, map current-state to future-state, and support successful transformation outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, transformation, or project-based environments.
• Strong analytical skills to break down complex problems into clear requirements and actions.
• Experience gathering requirements via interviews, workshops, and stakeholder engagement.
• Exposure to current-state/future-state analysis and process mapping.
• Excellent stakeholder management and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements and translate them into practical actions.
• Map current-state processes and design improved future-state workflows.
• Plan and facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to validate requirements.
• Develop transformation deliverables such as process maps and operating procedures.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation in future-state designs.
• Support testing, implementation and transition activities across workstreams.
• Take ownership of defined work packages and contribute to broader transformation efforts.
• Contribute to PwC’s transformation tools, frameworks and ways of working.
