Job summary

BNZ in Auckland is seeking a Senior Third Party Governance professional for a fixed-term role. You will provide subject matter expertise across policies, systems and tools for the third-party lifecycle, including procurement and risk management, and support Contract Owners to ensure regulatory compliance.

You will manage senior stakeholders, interpret regulatory requirements for outsourcing, and contribute to the BS11 compendium updates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in corporate governance, third party risk management, procurement or legal in a corporate environment.
• Direct involvement in overseeing policies, frameworks and compliance in regulated industries.
• Excellent senior stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Exceptional communication with experience drafting executive/board level documents.
• Strong reporting and analytical skills, interpreting data for senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise across third-party policies, systems, processes and tools.
• Embed third-party performance management across material contracts and support Contract Owners.
• Approve regulatory impacting third-party contracts and ensure governance compliance.
• Prepare third-party frameworks for regulatory updates including DTA and Modern Slavery.
