Job summary

Westpac New Zealand is seeking an experienced risk professional to strengthen service provider and operational resilience management. The role partners with stakeholders to improve processes, investigate issues and support effective risk management across Shared Services.

You will influence outcomes, solve complex problems and drive positive change in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid role with WFH options and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational resilience, third-party or supplier risk, governance, compliance, operational risk or business improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise across third-party risk, governance and operational resilience.
• Support risk reviews, investigations, remediation activities and business improvement initiatives.
• Deliver insights and recommendations to strengthen risk management outcomes.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve processes, controls and ways of working.
• Contribute to strategic projects and continuous improvement across the function.
