Bank of New Zealand in Auckland is seeking a Senior Manager – Third Party Governance for a fixed-term opportunity. You will provide SME across policy, risk and procurement, ensure regulatory compliance, and embed performance management for material contracts.

You will work with senior stakeholders to interpret data, support governance, and navigate regulatory requirements like DTA and Modern Slavery legislation.

Qualifikationen

• At least 5 years’ experience of corporate governance, third party risk management, procurement or legal in a corporate environment.
• Previous direct involvement in overseeing policies, frameworks and compliance activities in a regulated industry.
• Excellent senior stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, with demonstrated experience drafting executive and board level documents.
• Reporting and analytical skills including interpreting data from various systems/ sources and providing meaningful insights to senior leaders.
• Demonstrated understanding of regulatory requirements specific to third parties and outsourcing.
• Tertiary qualification in a business or risk discipline, and/or a Legal degree would be desirable

Aufgaben

• Provide subject matter expertise across policies, systems, processes and tools associated with the third-party lifecycle, including procurement and third-party risk.
• Embed third party performance management activities across material contracts, including supporting Contract Owners to understand what is required.
• Approve regulatory impacting third party contracts, ensuring compliance to governance requirements and ensure the BS11 Compendium of outsourced arrangements remains accurate and up to date
• Prepare third party frameworks for emerging regulatory and legislative requirements including the DTA (Deposit Takers Act) and Modern Slavery legislation.
• Use data and insights to monitor effectiveness and provide oversight of third-party risk and procurement processes, policy and standards
