Job summary

First Focus NZ is seeking a Senior Support Technician (Client SME) to become the go-to technical brain for our clients. You will own client environments, resolve real problems and occasionally be the hero.

You’ll provide remote and phone-based support across Microsoft environments (AD, Azure, Entra, M365) and collaborate with project engineers to maintain best-practice environments. Hybrid working and growth opportunities await.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of Active Directory and related services.
• Strong experience in end-user support and customer service.
• Experience managing Windows Server roles in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and phone-based support to clients.
• Act as the technical SME for assigned environments.
• Support servers, desktops, and applications across Microsoft environments (AD, Azure, M365, Entra).
• Work across cloud, backup, AV and virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, Citrix, Veeam).
• Handle Level 2 and Level 3 issues across a broad tech stack.
• Collaborate with project engineers and escalation teams.
