Job summary

Taylor Construction is seeking a Site Manager On-Site to lead on our residential project in Northland. You will oversee all on-site activities, coordinate contractors, and manage resources to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality construction outcomes.

The role requires strong plan reading, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A NZ Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4) and a Class 1 NZ driver’s license are essential, with 5–6 years in site management highly desirable.

Qualifications

• NZ Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4) and First Aid Certification.
• Min. 5–6 years Site Manager experience or similar.
• Full NZ working rights and a valid Class 1 NZ driver’s license.
• Desirable: Hilti Powder-Actuated Tool licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead on-site activities to deliver safe, high-quality construction.
• Coordinate contractors and manage resources to meet milestones.
• Read plans, interpret specs, manage document control and QA inspections.
• Raise POs, manage inspections, and ensure readiness for subcontractors.
