Job summary

OneStaff Dunedin is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee commercial construction sites in Dunedin and the South Island. You may be an experienced Site Manager or a capable Foreman ready to step up, with flexibility on experience level for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for day-to-day site management, coordinating trades, reading plans, ensuring safety, and delivering projects to high standards. NZ driver’s licence and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

Previous experience leading or supervising construction teams.
Strong understanding of construction processes and site operations.
Good planning, organisation and communication skills.
Strong commitment to health and safety.
Ability to work effectively with a range of trades and subcontractors.
A practical, solutions-focused approach.
Flexibility to work across projects of different sizes and complexities.
A full NZ driver's licence.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate day-to-day on-site operations at commercial construction sites.
Lead and coordinate trades, subcontractors and site personnel.
Plan and organise site activities, materials and resources.
Monitor project progress, quality and programme; report deviations.
Maintain health and safety standards at all times on site.
