Job summary

Penny Homes in Taupo seeks a Site Manager to oversee daily site operations for residential and multi-unit developments, coordinating trades, materials, and safety. You will drive project progress on site and ensure QA and programme delivery.

Ideal candidates will have strong on-site leadership, residential construction experience, and hands-on carpentry knowledge where possible. NZ residency is required for this role and a competitive package will be negotiated.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential construction projects, with ability to manage on-site trades and programs.
• Hands-on carpentry experience is advantageous and appreciated.
• Strong communication and site-management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day running of the site and driving the project forward.
• Ensure project programmes are maintained and quality is achieved.
• Coordinate materials on and off-site.
• Liaise with Clients, Consultants and subcontractors.
• Maintain Health and Safety standards.
• Ensure QA is completed.
• Be solutions focused.
