Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Mine Safety Inspector to oversee remote mine safety operations across multiple sites. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and safe working practices in a remote-first environment.

You will review safety reports, conduct virtual audits, develop safety policies, and advise site management. Strong auditing, analytical, and communication skills are essential for success in this flexible, remote role.

Formación

• National Diploma or Bachelor's in Occupational Health and Safety or Mining Engineering.
• Proven experience in safety audits and safety management systems.
• Strong analytical and investigative capabilities.
• Excellent communication and remote engagement skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations in mining.
• Conduct virtual safety audits and inspections from remote sites.
• Review and analyze incident reports; investigate root causes.
• Develop, update, and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance to site safety officers and management teams.
• Deliver remote safety training sessions and workshops.
• Monitor safety metrics and prepare regular safety reports.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.
• Stay current with legislative changes and best practices.
• Advise on risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
