Job summary

The Placement Co NZ Limited – Cambridge, North Island, is partnering with TW Construction to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who will lead the commercial function on multiple projects across the North Island.

You’ll work with senior leadership to manage cost plans, procurement, tender analysis, variations and final accounts, while mentoring others as the business grows. A proactive, solutions-focused approach and NZ contracts knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ Quantity Surveying experience within commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of NZ construction contracts.
• Excellent commercial acumen.
• Confidence managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Outstanding negotiation and communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate cost plans and estimates.
• Procurement and subcontractor management.
• Tender analysis and contract negotiations.
