Job summary

Harper Smith Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a Tauranga based commercial construction team. The role focuses on full lifecycle cost management for $10m+ projects, with responsibility for budgets, tender analysis and subcontractor commercial agreements.

You will work within a main contractor/developer environment to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards. NZ citizenship or residency is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working on NZ commercial packages.
• Strong procurement and budget control skills.
• Background in main contractor or developer environments.
• Qualified Quantity Surveyor with NZ qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage full contract administration and budgets.
• Tender analysis and subcontractor management.
• Prepare estimates, registrations of interest and proposals.
• Collaborate with commercial team to deliver on time and within budget.
