Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Commerce, International Trade, or a related field.
• Proven track record in B2B business development, contract manufacturing sales, or OEM/ODM client acquisition.
• Experience in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, health products, or FMCG sectors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue targets for the OEM/ODM contract manufacturing business.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritise new market opportunities for contract manufacturing services in NZ and overseas.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities in the nutraceutical industry.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior management.
• Identify and secure new OEM/ODM manufacturing clients in New Zealand and overseas markets.
• Establish and maintain relationships with brand owners.
• Manage key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Develop tailored proposals and quotations based on client requirements (product specs, volume, delivery timelines, pricing).
• Negotiate supply agreements and pricing structures with brand partners.
• Set pricing frameworks and credit terms for contract manufacturing clients.
• Coordinate with product development, production, regulatory, and quality teams to meet requirements.
• Work with R&D on formulation development and product sampling for prospective clients.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and NZ regulatory requirements.
