Job summary

Bureau Veritas Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a senior Architect to lead and oversee all architectural works for major construction projects in Otago, New Zealand. You will ensure design compliance with specifications, regulatory standards, and safety requirements, and coordinate with consultants, contractors and stakeholders.

The role requires extensive experience on large-scale projects, a degree in Architecture, and registration as an Architect.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of relevant architectural experience, including at least 15 years on projects of similar scale and complexity.
• Extensive experience in architectural works for major buildings, tunnels, and deep excavation projects.
• Degree in Architecture recognized by the Board of Architects.
• Registered Architect with the Board of Architects.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration under PSSCOC.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all architectural works for major construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications, project requirements, regulatory standards, and safety requirements.
• Supervise and coordinate architectural site activities with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve architectural design and construction issues.
• Administer and manage contracts in accordance with PSSCOC requirements.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance to ensure successful project delivery.
