Job summary

Bureau Veritas Singapore Pte Ltd in Otago, New Zealand, is seeking a seasoned M&E Site Supervision Lead to manage a major building construction project, supervise utilities installation, and oversee testing and commissioning activities.

You will lead a multidisciplinary site team, plan rosters, ensure compliance with statutory codes and PSSCOC, uphold WSH standards, and coordinate with QP(D), QP(S) and project consultants to resolve design and construction interfaces.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore.
Preferably accredited as a Registered Resident Engineer (RRE) with the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES).
Minimum 10 years in M&E building services within construction, incl. 8+ years on large projects.
Experience leading site supervision teams on major projects.
Strong knowledge of PSSCOC contract administration.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the M&E site supervision team for major building construction, utilities installation, and testing & commissioning works.
Monitor, supervise, and inspect works per Client, QP(MEP), and project consultants.
Plan and manage supervision team rosters based on project schedules and regulations.
Coordinate with QP(D) and QP(S) to resolve design, construction, and technical issues.
Administer contracts and oversee project execution under PSSCOC.
Coordinate multidisciplinary construction activities and resolve interfaces across trades.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, quality control, and progress reporting.
Promote and enforce WSH standards on site.
