Job summary

Citycare Property in Christchurch is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to maintain iconic council-owned properties and support upgrade projects. You will join a collaborative team, handling maintenance, installation, commissioning, and fault-finding across commercial sites while prioritising health and safety.

We value a trade-qualified professional with a full Class 1 licence, experience with chillers or BMS, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified HVAC technician with NZ recognition.
• Full Class 1 Driver Licence is required.
• Experience with chillers and artesian systems ideal.
• SS9/SS13 IQP registration ideal.
• Knowledge of controls and BMS.
• Customer-facing service orientation.
• Physically fit with health and safety focus.
• Ability to work in commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install and commission HVAC and electrical systems on commercial properties.
• Troubleshoot, fault find and repair equipment.
• Collaborate with skilled technicians to complete tasks.
• Provide technical recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Support development of team through information sharing.
• Commit to health and safety on site.

Are you a skilled HVAC Technician ready to take on a rewarding challenge? Look no further! Citycare Property specialises in maintaining installed equipment to perfection. From project work to routine care, preventative maintenance to reactive response, we're dedicated to excellence.

We're on the lookout for a trade-qualified individual working in collaboration with highly experienced teams, you will be responsible for the maintenance, installation and commissioning of newly installed equipment, troubleshooting, fault finding and repairs. • Experienced and qualified HVAC Technician
