You will produce drawings and calculations, collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams, and manage your workload while supporting senior engineers and engaging clients. Flexible arrangements and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Solid foundation in HVAC design for building services projects.
• Familiarity with Revit/IES and NZ codes.
• Currently pursuing professional registration or chartership.

Join our Tauranga Building Services team and advance your engineering career by delivering HVAC solutions across a diverse range of projects, including healthcare, education, commercial, industrial, and community sites throughout the Bay of Plenty and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design work from concept through to construction for building services projects.
• Produce detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications for HVAC systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to develop project outcomes and maintain design integrity.
• Manage your own workload and contribute to project coordination and client engagement.
• Support senior engineers and share knowledge with the broader Building Services team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Solid foundation in HVAC design and experience on building services projects, preferably within a consulting environment.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Revit or IES and familiarity with ASHRAE, CIBSE, and New Zealand building codes.
• Comfortable managing independent work and contributing effectively to a team.
• Currently working toward professional registration or chartership.
