Job summary

Contact Energy is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead geothermal developments and the associated civil, structural and mechanical infrastructure across major projects.

You will oversee steamfield pipelines, plant infrastructure and power station construction, ensuring designs are robust, safe and delivered on schedule. You’ll work with consultants, contractors, and internal teams across the full lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of construction, design management or project delivery.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver major geothermal developments and associated civil, structural and mechanical infrastructure.
• Oversee steamfield pipelines and plant infrastructure, through to power station construction.
• Support onsite delivery teams, manage technical risks and coordinate contractors.
• Solve challenging engineering problems with consultants and specialist teams.
