Job summary

Contact Energy is seeking a Senior Project Engineer, EC&I, to deliver electrical, control and instrumentation systems for geothermal and major capital projects across New Zealand. You'll oversee from concept and design through construction, commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, reliability and long-term performance of critical assets.

You'll collaborate with project managers, contractors and operations teams to resolve technical challenges onsite and guide delivery to meet project

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
• Experience delivering EC&I projects in industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, control and instrumentation systems.
• Ability to manage technical stakeholders and contractors.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical, control and instrumentation systems from concept to handover.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors and operations teams.
• Resolve commissioning issues and guide delivery challenges on site.
