Job summary

Contact Energy is seeking a Senior Project Engineer, EC&I, to lead electrical, control and instrumentation systems for geothermal and renewable energy projects. You will oversee concept design through construction, commissioning and handover, partnering with project managers, contractors and operations to deliver safe, reliable assets.

Ideal candidates have experience in EC&I, a relevant engineering degree, and can balance technical excellence with commercial and operational realities within

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience delivering EC&I projects in industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, control and instrumentation systems.
• Ability to manage technical stakeholders and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical, control and instrumentation systems from concept to handover.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors and operations to achieve outcomes.
• Resolve technical issues on site and guide commissioning activities.
• Provide technical leadership across multi-disciplinary teams.
