Job summary

MB Century, Taupo, NZ, invites applications for Senior Engineer / Team Lead - Geothermal. Based at our Wairakei location, with local and international site visits, you will spearhead geothermal design and mentor the engineering team.

You will drive client relationships, support tendering, and contribute to the company’s growth in renewable energy. A Washington Accord degree is preferred and CPEng is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Substantial geothermal or process engineering experience.
• Piping and process design knowledge.
• Washington Accord Mechanical Engineering degree; CPEng preferred.
• Leadership in multi-disciplinary teams and mentoring.
• Ability to develop client partnerships and lead projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead major geothermal design and engineering projects.
• Support knowledge sharing and networking for the team.
• Act as technical advisor for refurbishment projects and tendering.
• Perform geothermal and general engineering design, plant upgrades, and commissioning support.
• Utilise modern tech like 3D scanning and laser alignment.
• Mentor engineers and grow MB Century's capability.
• Drive client relationships and develop business opportunities.
