Job summary

MB Century, a Taupo-based geothermal leader, is seeking a Senior Manager - Subsurface to drive the next phase of growth and sit on the SLT. You will lead our global subsurface strategy and expand service lines across exploration, reservoir management and advisory services.

This role requires 15+ years in geothermal, a relevant geoscience or engineering degree, and a proven track record growing businesses and leading technical teams. Applicants must be eligible to work in NZ.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in geothermal sector.
• A tertiary qualification in geoscience or engineering related to geothermal.
• Deep technical domain expertise across subsurface activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead global subsurface business and growth strategy.
• Act as principal geothermal subsurface expert and client adviser.
• Develop opportunities across resource assessment, exploration, reservoir management, and advisory services.
• Build relationships with geothermal developers, utilities, asset owners and government agencies.
• Mentor and lead a multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver commercial performance and sustainable growth.
