Job summary

MB Century is seeking an Engineering Manager to bridge leadership and hands-on technical delivery across our geothermal and hydropower projects in New Zealand. You will mentor engineers and provide technical oversight while engaging with clients and guiding projects from concept through delivery.

You will lead by example, drive practical design decisions, and foster a collaborative culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement within a busy, project-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams in a complex operational or project environment.
• Strong technical capability and confidence in guiding design and decision‑making.
• Ability to build trust and communicate well across teams and clients.
• Collaborative leadership style and genuine interest in developing others.
• Experience in heavy industry or power generation is advantageous.
