Job summary

MB Century is a leader in the geothermal industry and is seeking a Senior Manager - Subsurface to drive the next phase of growth. You will report to the CEO, sit on the Senior Leadership Team, and lead global subsurface strategy, grow service lines, and strengthen MB Century's position as a premier provider of integrated geothermal subsurface services.

This role blends technical leadership, business development, client engagement, and commercial management with international impact.

Qualifications

• 15+ years' experience in geothermal sector.
• Tertiary qualification in geoscience or engineering discipline.
• Deep technical domain expertise across subsurface activities—reservoir assessment, exploration, development, and reservoir management.
• Strong domestic and international networks with proven track record of winning work.
• Experience leading technical teams and growing businesses.

About You

You're a highly credible geothermal leader with:

• 15+ years' experience in the geothermal sector.
• A tertiary qualification in a relevant geoscience or engineering discipline, such as Geology, Geophysics, Geochemistry, Reservoir Engineering or Earth Sciences, together with extensive geothermal industry experience.
• Deep technical domain expertise, combined with a strong understanding across subsurface activities - reservoir assessment, exploration, development, and reservoir management.
• Strong domestic and international industry networks and a proven track record of winning work.
• Experience leading technical teams and growing businesses.
