Job summary

Auxo, Auckland-based software platform for workshops, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Front End) to join a lean, collaborative team. You will shape the UI that powers workshop planning and on-site work, contributing end-to-end from frontend to occasional backend touches.

Bring strong React + TypeScript production experience, Next.js, and React Native. You’ll own performance improvements, pursue accessible, reliable UI, and work closely with the Front End Lead; AI tooling will be used to

Qualifications

• Strong production frontend experience with React + TypeScript.
• Hands-on Next.js experience or equivalent modern React framework.
• Production React Native experience (Expo) for app stores.
• Clear evidence of frontend performance work and outcomes.
• Collaborative approach with open feedback and proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production-ready frontend web and mobile components using React/TS/Next.js and React Native.
• Collaborate with Front End Lead on architecture, performance, and design system decisions.
• Prioritize accessibility, testing, and shipping reliable UI.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery while upholding quality and security.
