Job summary

Vista Group International – Auckland, North Island is seeking a Junior Frontend Software Engineer to join an experienced engineering team. You will contribute to Vista Digital products, designing, developing and implementing new applications while enhancing existing ones.

You’ll work on large React-based applications, mastering React to deliver cutting-edge frontend experiences and collaborating with peers to create high-quality solutions. Hybrid work with opportunities for mentorship await.

Qualifications

• Strong front-end capabilities with JS/TS/React, plus CSS/HTML knowledge.
• Experience designing and developing enterprise SaaS applications.
• Mobile development experience for React Native and CapacitorJS/Ionic.
• Understanding of Cloud concepts on Azure or AWS; security and performance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Work on large, interactive React-based applications (web, mobile, kiosk).
• Master React to ensure cutting-edge front-end experiences follow best practices.
• Collaborate on internal components and tooling to accelerate development.
• Contribute to training, documentation, code reviews and solution reviews with teammates.
