Vista Group in Auckland, New Zealand is seeking a Junior Frontend Software Engineer to join an experienced engineering team. You’ll contribute to React-based applications, ensure code quality, and grow into an intermediate role with mentoring opportunities.

You’ll collaborate on internal components, follow best practices, and help deliver high-quality frontend solutions across web, mobile, and kiosk platforms in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Strong front-end capabilities with JS/TS/React/HTML/CSS/SCSS and front-end test-suites.
• Experience designing and developing enterprise SaaS applications.
• Experience in mobile development with React Native and CapacitorJS/Ionic.
• Knowledge of C# / .NET Core is a plus.
• Understanding of cloud concepts (Azure or AWS) and web UX best practices.

Responsibilities

• Work on large, interactive React-based applications across web, mobile, and kiosks.
• Master React to ensure cutting-edge front-end experiences and best practices.
• Collaborate on internal components to accelerate development.
• Support training, documentation, code reviews, and solution reviews with teammates.
