Job summary

Pushpay in Auckland, New Zealand is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build the platform that powers our products. You will drive frontend evolution by migrating legacy frontends to React/TypeScript, expanding the shared design system, and building a centralised frontend portal for multiple teams.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and other engineers to deliver scalable, user-focused software, raise quality and velocity, and mentor teammates as we raise the engineering bar.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Typescript and React.
• Experience building NodeJS services.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with modern frontend architectures and design systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean, scalable, production-ready software.
• Break down complex initiatives into clear, well-scoped work.
• Help modernise frontend architecture.
• Coach and mentor other engineers.
• Identify risks and improvements early.
• Contribute to engineering culture, practices, and standards.
