Job summary

NZ Post is seeking a Senior Analyst for Financial Planning & Reporting in either Auckland or Wellington. You will partner with senior leaders to produce monthly performance reports, manage external reporting to Treasury, and deliver insights across the organisation.

You will own the chart of accounts, drive PA2.0 enhancements, and act as a trusted advisor on financial planning and reporting. This role blends analysis with strategic guidance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in a management accounting or financial planning/reporting environment.
• Finance or accounting degree ideally CA or equivalent.
• Strong ability to analyse complex financials across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Working knowledge of financial planning tools PA2.0, TM1, Power BI, etc.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly performance reports for the Executive Leadership Team and Board.
• Manage external financial reporting and planning relationships with the shareholder (Treasury).
• Provide monthly financial and non-financial reporting to business leaders across the organisation.
• Own key financial structures like the chart of accounts and reporting hierarchies.
• Drive continuous improvement in the financial planning system (PA2.0).
