Job summary

New Zealand Post in Wellington (open to Auckland) seeks a Senior Analyst to support corporate decision-making with timely financial analysis. You’ll help produce the monthly performance reports for the Executive Leadership Team, Board and Treasury, and contribute to the three-year financial plan.

The role blends deep analysis with strategic advisory, owning the chart of accounts and reporting hierarchies, and driving improvements in Planning Analytics 2.0 while collaborating with senior leaders

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounting or financial planning/reporting is required.
• Ability to analyse Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
• Strong knowledge of PA2.0 or similar tools and reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly performance reports for ELT and Board.
• Manage external reporting with the NZ Post Treasury as shareholder.
• Provide monthly financial and non-financial reporting to leaders.
• Own chart of accounts and reporting hierarchies; drive PA2.0 improvements.
