Placements24 seeks a seasoned Electrical Systems Manager in Queenstown to lead the electrical engineering department. You will oversee design, implementation, maintenance, and compliance of critical electrical infrastructure and drive strategic planning and budgeting.

Ideal candidate brings extensive experience managing large-scale systems, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Pr. Eng. registration desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the electrical engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for upkeep, upgrade, and expansion of electrical systems and infrastructure.
• Oversee design and execution of electrical projects, on time, within budget, and safely.
• Manage the electrical maintenance program, including preventative and corrective strategies for reliability.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards across operations.
• Develop and manage the department budget including capex and Opex.
