Job summary

You will manage scope, pre-start checks, QA, and progress reporting while assessing resources and supplier needs to meet client expectations.

You will also engage with clients, quote where required, and drive opportunities for the business, maintaining safety and quality across the projects.

• Proven experience managing electrical contracting projects.
• Strong planning, programming and organisational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret project documentation, drawings and specifications.
• Sound commercial awareness across budgets, job costing and supplier quotes.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.

Job description

This permanent Project Manager's role in Queenstown suits someone who can run multiple electrical contracting sites at once and still keep every one of them on programme and on budget.

You'll manage multiple job sites, determine project scope, and take responsibility for pre-start checks, quality assurance and programme delivery from start to finish. The role covers assessing resource and supplier requirements, compiling job cost reports, monitoring workmanship and labour performance against targets, and processing variations and progress claims. You'll also meet with clients to promote our client's business and identify new opportunities, including quoting where required.
