Job summary

Edison Consulting Group – Wellington Central, North Island, is seeking a Senior Electrical/Power Systems Design Engineer to join our team in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch. You will lead electrical design projects across HV transmission, Primary/Secondary, Substations and Protection and Automation, delivering practical, safe and efficient solutions for diverse clients.

The role offers leadership opportunities, flexible working, and exposure to varied projects.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in electrical design engineering, specialising in HV transmission, Primary, Secondary, Substations or Protection and Automation.
• Washington accord Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Demonstrated ability to run design projects effectively and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Software systems skills specific to substation structures.
• The ability to sustain effective business relationships.
• A passion for Engineering.
