Job summary

Contact Energy is seeking a Senior Project Engineer, EC&I, to deliver electrical, control and instrumentation systems for geothermal and renewable energy projects. You will oversee concepts through to construction, commissioning and handover, ensuring safety and reliability.

You will collaborate with project managers, contractors and operations, tackling HV infrastructure, protection systems and control architectures.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
• Experience delivering EC&I projects in industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of electrical, control and instrumentation systems
• Ability to manage technical stakeholders and contractors
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical, control and instrumentation systems for geothermal and renewable energy projects
• Oversee design through to construction, commissioning and handover
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors and operations to achieve complex technical outcomes
• Review commissioning activities and guide delivery to meet safety and performance goals
