Chubb Life NZ is seeking a Senior Claims Consultant to own a portfolio of Disability Income and TPD claims, guiding cases from decision to return‑to‑work. You’ll use Active Case Management, collaborate with doctors and providers, and apply delegated authority with clear reasoning.

You’ll work across complex cases with specialists, advisers and providers, ensuring timely decisions and cost‑aware rehab plans. This is a full‑time, hybrid role based in NZ.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years in income protection or rehab roles.
• Life insurance claims experience with IP claims management preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret medical reports.

Responsabilidades

• Decide Disability Income and TPD claims within delegated authority.
• Run complex return-to-work claims with Active Case Management.
• Build rehab plans with providers with milestones and cost awareness.
• Keep customers and advisers informed with proactive calls.
• Analyze complex financial information to inform assessments.
• Support Case Managers and present tough cases to claims committee.
