Chubb Life NZ is seeking a Senior Claims Consultant to own a portfolio of Disability Income and TPD claims, from decision through to returning claimants to work. You’ll use Active Case Management to plan rehab with doctors and providers, make decisions within delegated authority, and back each decision with clear reasoning.

You’ll work complex cases with specialists and guide Case Managers through difficult conversations, leveraging your experience to add real value.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Income Protection and rehab
• Ability to read and interpret medical reports
• Strong communication with empathy for vulnerable customers

• Decide Disability Income and TPD claims within delegated authority
• Run complex return-to-work claims with Active Case Management
• Build rehab plans with providers and track milestones
• Keep customers and advisers updated with proactive calls
• Analyze complex financial information to ensure accurate assessments
• Support Case Managers and take tough cases to claims committee
