Randstad Digital New Zealand is recruiting a Senior Data Engineer for WorkSafe New Zealand. You will design, build, and maintain data platforms and pipelines across multiple sources to enable analytics, BI and AI initiatives.

Join a team delivering scalable, secure data solutions in a complex environment while collaborating with analysts, data scientists and engineers. A strong data engineering background and Azure data services experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Design and deliver production-ready data platforms and pipelines.
• -build reliable ETL/ELT processes for analytics and reporting.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud-native data architectures and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data platforms and pipelines.
• Integrate complex data sources into trusted data assets.
• Develop robust ETL/ELT processes for analytics and reporting.
• Optimize data performance, reliability and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data engineering issues.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists and tech teams.
• Apply engineering best practices to support AI and analytics solutions.
